    Ministry of infrastructure, Government of the Republic of Rwanda is responsible for the development and maintenance of sustainable infrastructure, covering sectors such as transport, energy, water supply, sanitation, housing, and human settlements. MININFRA aims to drive Rwanda's economic growth and enhance the quality of life for its citizens by providing modern infrastructure. The ministry oversees the planning, implementation, and monitoring of infrastructure projects, ensuring they align with national and regional development goals. MININFRA also promotes private sector investment in infrastructure and supervises various public institutions and agencies under its jurisdiction. It gained its current name in 2002.
